Organization:  The Filipino Organization of Iowa (FAAI)

Mission Statement

The Filipino-American Association of Iowa (FAAI) is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, non-political, and non-profit organization for the primary purposes of promoting awareness, knowledge and understanding of, and celebrating Philippine-US culture and heritage; to serve as a supportive gathering network for Filipinos, Filipino-Americans and peoples of other ethnic, national or cultural origins who are interested in promoting and achieving the primary purposes of the FAAI; and to aspire for and aim, in accordance with its resources, to extend humanitarian assistance not only to Members, but also to other Filipino-American communities, whether in the U.S.A, the Philippines, or elsewhere.
